S.A.,
From my understanding Dr Hany explained that nabiy is a prophet who taught an existing scripture, and rasool is a messenger who is bringing a scripture.
My question is, how come in Quran Isa is referred to as rasool (messenger)? Did Isa bring any scripture?
Quran 61:6
Salaamun 3alaykum,
From my understanding there are 2 issues here.
First, these are 3issas words
Second, Bani Issraa'il have a different understanding of rassool than the followers of al-Qur'an. They don't make the same distinction between rassool and nabiy that followers of Qur'an do.
Salaamun Alaykum,
IEM didn't have any scripture nor was he a rasul or naby.
Remember the concept of mawj.
It is just a claim.
I should add who is the composer of this aya 61:6?
Salaamun alaykum Brother,
please refer to YT146 and YT147, and YT132.
Thank you.
There are two people given the title 'RasulAllah' in the Qur'an...
• Ruh ul-Qudus
&
• Ruh ul-Ameen

Salaamun Alaykum
