Salamun alekum to all brothers and sisters. My situation is that since I got involved with MQ channel, my family including my brother, father and my wife feel that I have taken wrong path. They are not even ready to watch video(s) by Dr. Hany. They can argue/ fight for hours but can't spare one hour or even less to watch video. They think it's a Jewish/Christian/ any third party trap to deviate from Islam. Secondly I m not that capable that I can explain/argue with them. The point is I myself has to watch video of Dr. Hany more than twice and even than I m not able to grab fully. While watching video or going through notes (as I m level 2 subscriber) I understand at that time but tend to forget. I m still not clear about ritual salat, saum, hajj etc. I think I need to get in touch with someone who is in similar situation. I humbly request if anyone of you are in similar kind of situation, please connect with me and may be together we can find some solution and I may be at peace or get some advice in sha Allah. This will enable you to practice correctly while observing all prerequisites; a self reinforcing cycle.
When you follow direct guidance "now", you will have no fear (future), nor feel grieved (past) [2:39], while gaining your true freedom in the process of self-correcting-M.
With ever-increasing certainty with ilm in training fields, practice patience (yourself, others)-persistence; "innallahe mağal saabiriyn".
Watching videos: Plant seeds, doing all due tasks (in correct meaning) and let them grow with rain then consume, press & drink. Undeniably, questions are critical-initiator in this flow, certainly after prerequisites. Key to sustaining life.
Finally, "..wa lillahi aaqibetil umuur". Trust and let things unfold as you progress. Not necessarily, only what you seem to remember, but also what you (are/being)/ can observe matters; all in pairs.
Priority is you, then others. Privileged, as long as we are here when we unlearn-relearn & facilitate the same for others.

What you mentioned do make lot of sense and please don't apologize.
Priority is for self and than others. We however cant ignore family and others as we do in worldly matter. As far as my understanding goes about nufoos ( as Dr. Hany mentioned ) once I die and if/when my family members or other known toil on scripture, it is going to help me in suspension state. So in a way priority is myself. Not very sure if I make sense here.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. My Arabic background saved me many times where I would have otherwise surely misunderstood or got confused.
I am in the same boat with my family- except they’re my younger siblings and are open minded so they didn’t come out and say “fake news!” But they haven’t listened to dr Hans videos yet
I suggest for you to learn Arabic, and to not engage with them yet. That’s what I decided to do. The time will come when you’re fluent and all the answers will fall into place. I have no doubt in the help of Allah when we’re sincere enshallah.

I believe its not about Arabic language. its about the mindset of a person. As they have preconceived notion that what they know/have learned in tradition is the true Islam.
It may be that they don't want to make any efforts even to watch the video(es)

Does your family know that just 30 years after the death of Muhammad SAW, the Ummayad’s forcibly seized control of the caliphate, raped all the women in Madina, killed all the sahabas, hunted down and killed the descendants of Muhammad SAW. Then moved the capital to Damascas, a Christian majority city and it remained as such for 300 years after that. Does your family know that the hypocrites from Makkah hijacked Islam.
The tradition is not defendable but the Quran is defendable.
Does your family know that traditionalist use historical claims (Asbab an nazul) and the Bible to interpret the Quran. The tafseer relies on the opinion of a man who was 9 or 12 when Muhammad SAW died.
Muhammad SAW never explained the Quran. The prophets before (except for the messengers) explained the Torah.
Tell them that abusing terms from the Quran is shirk especially when Allah provides a clear definition of the word.
