literal meaning of daze is the time when you retire to sleep. The time before you are gone into deep sleep, in another words stupor of death. To learn more of this concept revisit YT76.
Daze is where Allahh gives you the understanding of the Quran if you have been toiling in the Quran with the Devine lexicon and of course when you sow the seed.
Hope this helps.

Salaamun Alaykum.
خُلد like in خَلِدِين
It is before deep sleep.
نوم is deep sleep.
It is a state of consciousness where you can have access to the “hearing” of the soft spoken emissaries, who speak like subtle breathing in this state of consciousness to you.
I hope you will learn about the soft spoken emissaries form the segments. Because this is an important topic!
Scientifically this state might be closely related to Hypnagogia:
You need to build up the ability to perceive this state of consciousness, because the daze happens so fast, that you barely experience it, when you are untrained and mostly you fell asleep before even becoming aware that you passed through this state of consciousness. I had some experience with the daze, but only very short.
According to Dr. Hany don’t resist and let the things just happen when you go to sleep.
But try experience everything that happens before falling asleep.
I also found some other methods for training this state of consciousness. We have to understand that this state of consciousness is hard to access because it is like a slide into deep sleep and it is very hard to slow it down and remember some of it:
According to Andrew Tate (I don’t want to promote this guy), it takes a week or so: Try to remember the last thing before you fall asleep, so that you could tell the next day after waking up, what your last thought was. He did this to learn to remember all his dreams and master lucid dreaming.
But I say: During deep sleep نوم, memories are cut off - something like, but not exactly like anaesthesia. So to train to remember as much as possible, trains awareness for building memory-power as much into the daze as possible. Tomorrow then you might remember what you experienced from the daze. And this happened to me a month ago or so and I didn’t know how I did it but remembered something insightful from the daze the next day which was the weirdest thing I ever experienced.
According to Sadhguru, you have to try to be aware as long as possible. Then it is possible to stay awake during sleep. Like trying to stay aware in meditation before falling asleep. I often fell asleep during meditation and I really struggle to maintain awareness in meditation.
Meditation in Yoga means to change the state of consciousness. It does not mean to “empty your mind and think nothing”. Meditation allows you to control consciously your psyche, to allow to access that what happens uncontrolled when you take psychedelics. From many researches we know DMT might let you experience the daze like state as well, but all consumers told that they can’t remember what they saw during this state. Because they are untrained. DMT doesn’t allow you to remember the daze - thus you stay unproductive, (like سِنَةٍ : unproductive people who can’t take advantage of the divine rain) while being in the daze. You only remember that something strange happened to you, but you can’t remember what it exactly was. So it is important to train the memory to remember what happens before you fall asleep.
So one time I experienced it when I was falling asleep while inquiring about some weird observations I made. During the daze I understood the answer completely and I shortly woke up and only remembered the exact words of the answers, which I had said in the daze 3 seconds before, but I couldn’t tell why they made sense to me during the daze. Next morning I wrote something and through a Zikraa I suddenly understood the words which I couldn’t grasp and the night before. - Weirdest experience I’ve ever had.
I also had mild experience with such state when waking up. I hadn’t good sleep and became awake. I realized that I am not fully awake and started inquiring and saw the answer on my body in symbols, like seeing something in a dream. I woke up and wrote down what I saw so that I could think about it later. Because I had experienced this two three times before after waking up, so that wanted to make use of this state.
I hope you take this seriously and learn why this state of mind exist in our psyche and learn to take advantage of it.
Thank you! I have experienced lucid dreams, this kind of dream I was aware that I was dreaming in my dream, I think it was kind of a lucid dream?
But this daze, I have been always asking for this moment or state of daze, thank you I agree I think I need to discipline my intention and my attention. And I need to control what's preventing me inshallah! The closest I encounter was hearing a voice reciting ayah not in a state of daze.
