I was toiling on Surah Qasas and I am stopped at verse 28:32, where Musa AS is instructed to Insert his 'hand". While searching for other meaning of the word Yada (Hand), I stumbled upon the expression Yadullah (Hand of Allah) at ayat 5:64 used by followers of Musa (Which I believe is a wrong interpretation as Allah can not be compared or even thought of having hands). Thus leads me to believe Yadu is an AL term. Can anyone share their thoughts on this. May allah accept all of us as muttaqun.

I just want to add regarding the expression of hand in the Qur'an.
When I see the underlying meaning of the expression that Dr. Hany explained in the segment of Surah Yusuf, the term actually feel more like closer to [Involvement] rather than support.
Think about it like this, the gossiping women in the Story of Yusuf is not really supporting the conspiracy and scheme but more like involved in it. That is the reason why 'cutting off your hands' is most likely mean to cease your involvement in that matter, altogether.
I saw this post late at night and only in the morning right after I ate breakfast I remember my own understanding of this expression. I hope this will help. Back to my own business...

Involvement = support or against
So i think the translation as "support" give more clearer semantic
And u relate it more with the context it occurs throughout
