The interpretation of the verse 21:96 is provided by other scholars in the photo that i have attached. The segment YT58 gives a completely different interpretation of 21:96. I know i have asked this question before, but i can’t really comprehend the interpretation you have given for the ayah 21:96. Can you please give the detailed method via which you interpreted the ayah?

Salaamun Alaykum.

The minute from YT58 in which 21:96 is mentioned would make it plausible to know what you did‘t understand about it.

Salaamun Alaykum.

Refer to the The Quranic Arabic Corpus - Quran Dictionary  https://corpus.quran.com/qurandictionary.jsp?q=ftH
You will notice the two meanings, opening and victory. Now adjust your worldview away from the Wall and the Dam that the traditional scholars were reading in the story of Zulqarnain, and then think which meaning of the word fatah is more suited to the aya, the open for someone who has been boxed in, or the vistory against someone who has been causing corruption in the scripture ?

When Constantinople (the headquarters of the Europeans) fell to the Uthmaniah on 29 May 1453, the route for the Europeans to the East was cut off. This sparked a frantic search for alternative routes to the East. Europe is up there in the north and when they spread out to colonise the world, it appeared as if "they swarm down from every slope".

Salaamun Alaykum.

Pls 'empty your cup' and be patient as it seems you are still trying to fit the 'hadith' we've been taught about the so-called 'Al-Mahdi'!

Maybe that's why the British govt. decided to corrupt the Muslim Ummah of the Indian Sub-continent as together we've almost 25% of the world's Muslim population! By introducing 'Daars-e-Hadith' teaching madrassas they tactfully obliged us to wait for 'Al-Mahdi' and to go astray!

You know, almost all our madrassas teaches Hadiths, and discourages to try to learn the Quran otherthan just for recitation! And, we feel proud to have the best reciters in the world and don't bother to learn the Quranic messages according to the Quran!

Take a break and just think for a moment- why this Islamic world is so corrupt in their thinking pattern! Or, just think about Surah Wakiya aya 14! Don't you feel scared?!

Pls, let the Quran teach you...

SA,
The way I understood  this interpretation was to refer to the previous Aya which is 21:95. In 21 :95, you will find the word "Qarya" where its meaning has been explained by Dr.Hany in YT61 ( when he explained the parable of the man who died 100 years ago in surah 2:259). After understanding the meaning of Qarya, I tried to apply the meaning of Qarya to the interpretation of aya 21:95 .Next, I applied the context of  the new interpretation of aya 21:95 to aya 21:96.

Sorry if there are mistakes in my writings. (Especially for the grammar since right now I am busy)

Regards,

SA,
I only gave you my speculation and even I was still doubting that speculation too. That's why  I did not give you any conclusions. I also do not have sufficient knowledge of Arabic words.

By the way, brother do you understand Arabic? if yes, I found the meaning of the word "fataha" in the Hawramani Arabic lexicon. It is possible to apply this meaning to aya 21:96 ? this is the link of the website and a screenshot of those meanings Search results for فُتِحَتْ (hawramani.com).
